How to Hide WhatsApp’s Images & Videos from Android Gallery

WhatsApp is a most popular messaging app for Smartphones. 
As we all know WhatsApp is providing services of sharing Images, Videos, Audios and much more with your Friends. 
When we download any media from WhatsApp it can be see into Android Gallery.
 Sometime Images and Videos which are private (or Porn) but anyone can see it inside android galley. Here I am showing you to simple methods to hiding Whatsapp’s Images & videos without using any application.

 How to Hide WhatsApp’s Images & Videos from Android Gallery ?

 Just follow the below steps… 

• Download, Install and Open OI file manager apk of your android device or in google play store .
•  Navigate to the folder where WhatsApp Images and Videos are located, Generally they are in SDcard > Whatsapp > Media > (Here you’ll get Images and Videos Folder.)
•  Now first we are hiding WhatsApp’s Images so open folder named “WhatsApp Images”. Create an empty text file in folder “WhatsApp Images” folder.
•  Now rename that text file to “.nomedia” (Remove .txt extension, file name should be .nomedia) 

How to Hide WhatsApps Images & Videos from Android Gallery

•  Once you will rename that file, Guess what ? You’re done ! 
• Now go to Android Gallery and see WhatsApp Images are hidden.
•  For hiding WhatsApp Videos now copy that .nomedia file to “WhatsApp Videos” folder and it’ll be hidden from android gallery.

 How to Work? 

You can hide any folder of your android device by placing “.nomedia” file inside the folder. “.nomedia” indicates there is a no media files in the folder so Android Gallery and other android applications can’t access that Images and Videos.

 How to view hidden Images & videos?

 Hidden videos and images are only viewable from File manager.
 So If you want to see WhatsApp Images and Videos which you’ve hide you can see it by using File Manager.
